About Landcare Tree Service LLC

Down along the flat where the Clearwater bends past Kamiah, the cottonwoods stand bare and gray all winter, and the houses tucked among them catch every bit of cold air that drains off the water overnight. Landcare Tree Service clears the driveways and access lanes through that river bottom, ground that freezes differently than the bench above town — wetter, heavier snow, ice forming first along the fence lines nearest the current. A resident here can watch the steelhead water run open all winter even while their own driveway sits under a foot of white, the river keeping a schedule that has nothing to do with the calendar on land. Getting equipment down the narrow lanes between the cottonwoods without scraping a trunk or a low branch takes a slower hand than open country would ask for. This is close, patient work, done in the shadow of trees that won't leaf out again until well past the last snow.
