Island Park holds the deepest snow in Idaho most winters, drifts stacking up along the road known locally as the longest main street in the country until the plowed banks stand taller than a truck cab. Island Park Services works cabin driveways and access roads back into the lodgepole pine, ground where snow doesn't just fall, it accumulates, week over week, until a roofline needs relief as much as any driveway does.
