About Sy's Skid Services, LLC

South of downtown, past the rail line that still hauls grain cars out of the valley, the industrial park sits low and flat, taking wind straight off the open plain with nothing to break it. Sy's Skid Services runs a skid-steer through those yards and loading docks, work that calls for a tighter, more maneuverable machine than any full-size plow truck can manage between stacked pallets and parked trailers. Idaho Falls's grain elevators stand dusted white against a gray sky most of the winter, landmarks for a part of town most people only ever see from the highway. A loading dock left uncleared when the first truck backs in at six costs the whole yard a lost hour, so the skid-steer gets there ahead of the schedule, not after it. It's tight, particular work suited to a smaller machine and an early alarm clock.
