About SquatchLLC

East of the city limits the ground climbs into sagebrush bench land, scattered ranchettes and long gravel driveways where the nearest neighbor sits a half mile off and the only tracks in a fresh snow belong to coyotes. SquatchLLC runs that stretch, properties too far out and too exposed to the wind for a smaller outfit to bother with. A quarter-mile driveway drifted shut after an overnight system off the plateau is a different job than any suburban approach, calling for equipment built for real distance and a willingness to go where the pavement runs out. Reaching a house that would otherwise sit snowed in until a thaw, the plow truck's lights the only thing moving out there before sunrise, has its own satisfaction to it. Out on the bench, this crew is often the first sign of another person for days.
