Smitty's lawn and snow

About Smitty's lawn and snow

At four in the morning in January, Idaho Falls sits under an inversion so still you can hear a plow six blocks off, and every driveway in town is holding snow it did not ask for. Smitty's lawn and snow is out in that hour, clearing drives and walks so the way to work is already open when the sky finally goes gray. Come summer the same trucks run the other half of the year — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups on a weekly route. Two seasons, one property, one crew that already knows where the gate latch sticks. Snow moved before sunrise and grass cut on schedule are really the same job: showing up before it becomes a problem.
