About RealScapes

Out on the edge of Rigby, where new streets run straight into potato ground, a yard often begins as bare dirt with the Caribou Range lying low and blue off to the southeast. RealScapes takes those blanks and makes something of them: grading and soil prep, sod and seeding, beds shaped and mulched, shrubs and trees set where they will have the room to fill in. After that comes the upkeep, mowing and trimming and edging, with cleanups when spring and fall come around. This plain is generous with sky and stingy with shelter, so a yard here has to be planned around wind and a short season. Two summers on, the young trees throw shade and the lawn runs right up to the walk without a ragged inch.
