Ramey's Yard Care & Pest Control

About Ramey's Yard Care & Pest Control

April in Hayden is meltwater and mud, the snowbanks gone gray at the edges, the pines up toward Chilco still dripping at noon. Ramey's Yard Care & Pest Control shows up in that unpromising season, when a lawn is flattened and strawy and nobody quite believes it will come back: raking out the winter matting, opening the soil with aeration, overseeding the bare stretches the plow found. Then the ground warms, the prairie greens almost overnight, and the first cut of the year goes down. Nothing else in the calendar looks quite like a yard right after that first mow — striped, standing up, suddenly a lawn again. From there it is steady work through the long light of summer, week after week, keeping what spring started.
