About Bestway Spray Service Inc.

West of town the Rathdrum Prairie runs flat all the way to the mountains, and the wind that crosses it in June comes in dry and smelling of warm gravel. Bestway Spray Service Inc. reads Hayden lawns against that prairie air — where the sun sits longest, where the topsoil goes thin over aquifer stone, which corner of a yard gives up first in a hot week. The work here is the patient kind: feeding turf until it thickens, putting weed control down before the dandelions can claim the front strip, timing each pass to what the week's weather is actually doing rather than what the calendar says. The payoff arrives weeks later, when a lawn that came out of winter patchy and pale closes up even and deep green right to the sidewalk. That is a fine thing to drive past on a long July evening.
