About Merrow Materials LLC

Drop south out of Grangeville on the White Bird grade and the road cuts through layer after layer of old basalt on its way down to the Salmon — this is country made of rock, and it shows up in every yard on the prairie above. Merrow Materials LLC works in that vocabulary: the landscape materials a property needs underfoot, and the lawn and grounds care that goes over the top of them. Winters up here are long and the ground gives back slowly, so what gets built into a yard has to be built to sit. Come June the prairie is green to every fence line, and the difference between a yard that was thought through and one that was not is obvious from the road. Doing it once, doing it right, and watching it hold — that is the appeal.
