Sunray Lawn Care

About Sunray Lawn Care

Late August in Glengary: the Cabinet Mountains holding the last of the light in the east, dust hanging over the gravel roads long after a truck has gone by. Sunray Lawn Care is out in it, mowing and trimming the yards tucked along those roads while the evening pulls the heat off the day. Grass grows fast here in the weeks after the rain and slows to nothing by September, so the season gets worked hard while it lasts. Cleanup comes with every visit — clippings off the walks, edges brought back, the yard left quiet. A cut lawn at dusk in this country looks like an invitation to sit outside, which is more or less the whole idea.
