About TerraVita Landscape & Gardening Inc.

Garden City took its name from the plots that used to line these blocks long before the breweries and river bars moved in, and a few community garden beds still sit dormant under snow not far from the water. TerraVita Landscape & Gardening Inc. clears the driveways and walkways around those blocks, working residential streets where a raised garden bed at the corner of a yard tells you what the ground was built for. Snow along the river tends to arrive heavy and wet more often than it does further out in the valley, packing down fast on a driveway left even a few hours. Driveways get pushed clear to the garage, walkways scraped to the concrete, and paths kept open past any garden bed so nothing gets buried under a pushed pile by mistake. Underneath all that white, the garden plots simply wait out the winter, ready to grow again once the thaw sets in.
