The Boise River Greenbelt runs right along the edge of Garden City, cottonwoods bare and rimed with frost most mornings the river fog sits low. Les Bois Landscape clears the driveways and walkways on the streets backing up to that path, where the low ground near the water tends to hold ice longer than the blocks further from the river. A path used by runners and cyclists nearly year-round means the driveways feeding onto it need clearing early, before the first commuter tries to walk a dog along the water. Driveways get plowed to the curb, front walks scraped clean, and any ice built up where a downspout drains onto the sidewalk broken loose and salted. By the time the fog burns off the river, the streets along the Greenbelt look like any other clear morning in the city that surrounds them on every side.
