About Altus Home Services

Main Street in Emmett wakes up slow in January, brick storefronts dark until the courthouse lights come on across the square. Altus Home Services is usually already finished by then, working the sidewalks and lot behind the shops while the Gem County seat is still asleep. A dry cold grips this valley some mornings, the kind that keeps snow squeaking underfoot instead of melting into slush, and other mornings the Payette breathes just enough damp air to turn everything to a heavy, sticky pack. Either way, the walk in front of a Main Street door gets cleared to the brick, the curb cut kept open, and the lot out back plowed to the fence line before the first customer tries the handle. It is small, exact work, done so nobody downtown has to think about it.
