About Eagle Peak Tree Care, LLC

Eagle grew up as orchard country, and some of those old fruit tree rows still stand along the lanes on the edges of town, gnarled branches holding a line of snow along their tops long after the ground below has gone to slush. Eagle Peak Tree Care, LLC clears the driveways that run beside and between those old orchard rows, where a heavy wet snow can bend a tired old branch low enough to catch a passing truck if nobody's kept an eye on it. Working those lanes means reading the trees as much as the ground — which branch is carrying too much weight, which one's likely to let go on the next warm afternoon and drop its load across the gravel. The orchard soil holds a bit more moisture than the open valley floor around it, so ice tends to linger longer here in the shade of the old trees than it does out in open sun. Clearing a lane like that by midmorning, snow banked neatly along the tree line instead of packed under it, keeps both the driveway and the old trees standing over it in decent shape.
