Quality Greens

About Quality Greens

April in the Treasure Valley does not ease in — one week the ground is brown and the next the whole town of Caldwell has turned green at once, and the mowers come out of the shed. Quality Greens meets that turn with aeration and overseeding while the soil is still soft, feeding to push the color up, and weed control applied before the dandelions get their yellow week. After that it is weekly mowing and edging from the first warm stretch clear through to the far side of summer. Turf that is fed and cut on schedule keeps its color deep into the hot months, when the valley bakes and the untended yards go pale and thin. Watching a stand of grass thicken across one season never stops being satisfying.
