About Parker Tree Service, Inc.

Caldwell's old college quarter keeps its elms and sycamores trimmed tall along quiet streets near the campus clock tower, and a winter storm can drop enough snow through those bare limbs to close a sidewalk overnight. Parker Tree Service, Inc. clears the driveways and walks through that part of town alongside the rest of its work, moving block by block while the campus still sits dark before classes start. The snow falls differently under a stand of mature trees than it does across an open field — patchy, wind-shadowed, sometimes deeper against a trunk than out in the yard — and the crew reads each property that way rather than treating every drive the same. It's steady work through a Caldwell winter, one entry cleared after another, until the last walk near the old buildings is open too. There's a quiet satisfaction in opening a walk that a hundred years of trees have stood watch over.
