About Snake River Lawn

Burley Creek comes down through the cedars and into the salt, and every fall it carries salmon back up under the bridges — the town's oldest piece of news. Snake River Lawn tends the yards along that water, mowing on a schedule the rain keeps rearranging, trimming the ragged perimeter, edging where turf tries to climb the pavement. Creek-bottom ground stays damp late into summer, which means grass that grows longer here than the neighbors up the hill would believe. Leaving a yard cut even, with the borders sharp and the walks blown clear, is a small daily kind of pride. The work stays close to home: Burley, Olalla and Purdy.
