Jake's Sprinkler & Landscape

About Jake's Sprinkler & Landscape

South of town the canyon wall lets go of cold water the whole year through — springs pouring straight out of the basalt and filling the raceways that made this stretch of the Snake known for trout. Jake's Sprinkler & Landscape deals in the same currency, moving water to where it is wanted: installs and repairs, timers set, a weeping valve dug up and put right, lines cleared ahead of hard weather. Landscape work rounds it out — shaping and grading a yard, planting, rock and bed edges, then mowing and trimming to hold that shape once it is in. Mornings are the hour for it, before the day heats up and the wind comes over the rim. A yard that drinks evenly is the difference between a lawn and a map of dry spots.
