About Well Grounded LLC

Well Grounded LLC works close to the earth all year, and on a winter dusk with Table Rock catching the day's last light above downtown, that means clearing snow off the same soil and stone the crew spends the rest of the year shaping into beds and borders. The name is a small joke about the work, but there's truth in it too: this is a crew that knows where the ground slopes toward a drain, where a walkway sits uneven, where a plow blade needs to lift rather than scrape. Below the overlook, downtown's lights start to come on early against the short winter days, and the driveways this crew handles tend to finish just as that first wave of lights appears. Out toward the eastern edge of the city, where new yards sit raw against older blocks, the ground takes snow differently depending on how long it's been planted and worked over. By the time Table Rock goes dark against the sky, the walks on this route are clear underfoot.
