About Arborman Tree Care

Arborman Tree Care spends its days reading the bare branches of Boise's oldest trees, the ones that give the city its name, and on a foothills morning thick with valley inversion fog, those same trees frame a much quieter kind of work below. Before the fog burns off, if it burns off at all that day, the crew is out clearing driveways and walks under a canopy that's already dropped its leaves and now holds a rim of frost along every limb. A tree crew notices things a plow-only outfit might not: which branch is holding extra weight, which walkway sits in a tree's own cold shadow longer than the rest of the block. Down along the river the cottonwoods stand bare and pale in the low light, and up in the neighborhoods above downtown the same stillness holds until midmorning. By the time the fog lifts, if it lifts, the ground this crew has covered is clear and the trees above it are exactly as they were.
