About Alive & Green Lawn & Landscape

In April the ditch water comes back to Boise and every yard in town seems to wake at once. Alive & Green Lawn & Landscape meets the season right there — the first cut, the beds cleared and shaped, the borders drawn again after a brown winter. There is a plain pleasure in laying stripes across a North End side yard while the Foothills above are still the color of wet sand. Summer means keeping the blade high enough for valley heat and the line where turf meets walk kept honest. By October the crew is pulling leaves off the grass and closing the beds down for the cold. Mowing, trimming, bed work, cleanups — a Boise yard tended the whole way around the year.
