About Burris Lawn Co. LLC

Warm Springs Avenue in October turns into one long yellow tunnel, and underneath it the grass is still growing, quietly, right up to the frost. Burris Lawn Co. LLC is a lawn care business built around that late stretch as much as the busy middle of summer: last cuts taken a notch lower, leaves cleared off before they smother the turf, aeration and overseeding put down while the soil still holds warmth. Through the season it is the ordinary rhythm done well — mow, edge, trim, blow the walks, feed and treat the lawn when the calendar says so. Boise gives grass a long runway here, and a yard that gets tended all the way to November greens up noticeably sooner in the spring. There is real satisfaction in handing back a lawn stripped of leaves with the borders cut sharp against the concrete.
