About Ted's Repair

Highway 75 runs right through Bellevue, and the shop hears all of it — trucks headed up the valley, trailers with mowers on them headed home. Ted's Repair is a shop first, which means it knows precisely what a season of mountain grass does to a machine, and precisely how a lawn ought to look when that machine is right. The lawn work itself is plain and thorough: mow, trim, edge, clear the cuttings, keep the height honest between thaw and frost. Winter comes early at this end of the valley and the grass stops cold, so the cutting weeks count double. There is real satisfaction in a yard finished before noon, blades still sharp, nothing left to go back and redo.
