Yardopolis stays close to home base, working the in-town yards and short driveways of Athol's own quiet grid rather than the long rural lanes out past the fence lines. It's a small enough town that the crew knows which corner lot gets used for sledding every year once enough snow piles up along the ditch bank, and they plow around that hill rather than through it. Silverwood's rides sit silent and snow-covered a few miles south all winter, the whole park gone still in a way it never is come summer, and Athol itself takes on some of that same hush once the last commuter has pulled out for the day. The crew works block by block, driveway aprons and short walks first, moving through the same handful of streets enough times each winter to know exactly where the drifts build worst against a north-facing fence. Kids cut straight across town toward that same sledding hill most afternoons, the walks along the route already clear enough after school lets out to make the whole trip on foot.
