G2 Lawn Care

About G2 Lawn Care

Zwingle sits on the line between Dubuque and Jackson counties, out in the steep, rumpled country at the edge of Iowa's Driftless region. The hills here fold into wooded hollows and stone shows through the slopes, so a lawn in Zwingle is rarely a simple flat rectangle. G2 Lawn Care works with that terrain, mowing grades and banks, following the contours, trimming the margins where grass gives way to rock and timber. On a bright noon in late May, with traffic humming along Highway 61 and the oaks fully leafed out on the ridges, a freshly cut hillside yard looks combed and calm. That is the reward of lawn care in this corner of Iowa: green that drapes cleanly over the land's old, uneven shape.
