Clark's Tree Service

About Clark's Tree Service

Yorktown is a handful of streets set down in the rolling hills of Page County, where gravel roads crest and dip toward the southwest Iowa horizon. Clark's Tree Service works this little town at both ends of the year. When a winter dusk comes early and snow fills the lanes, drives and sidewalks get cleared so neighbors can make it home tonight and back out tomorrow. When the weather turns, the work moves to lawns: mowing grass that greens up fast in the deep soils of this corner of the state, and keeping yards trim beneath the trees. Out here the hilltops hold the last light a long time, and a cleared drive or a fresh-mown yard glows in that slanting sun.
