About Midwest Services LLC

Late August in Madison County: thunderheads stacking up west of the gravel section roads, the light gone long and yellow over the corn, cicadas loud enough to carry over an engine. Midwest Services LLC mows and trims and edges around Winterset — town lots on the numbered streets, and places out past Roseman Bridge where a yard runs to a fence line and then straight on into the fields. The work is simple and it shows the same day it is done: an even cut, clean borders, grass swept back off the sidewalk. A lawn that reads as tended from the road is worth every minute it takes. Calls go out from Winterset to Peru, Truro, Macksburg and Bevington.
