J&S Turf

About J&S Turf

Williamsburg sits in the rolling farm country of Iowa County, close enough to Interstate 80 that its hum becomes part of the town's background music. J&S Turf works the quieter side of that sound, in the blocks and yards where grass is the main event. Turf is right there in the name, and the craft is about the surface itself: an even cut, crisp borders along sidewalks and drives, a lawn that reads dense and uniform from the curb. By late August, when thunderheads stack up over the hills in the afternoon heat, a well-kept lawn here holds its color while the roadside ditches go tawny. That deep, steady green is the result J&S Turf works toward, yard by Williamsburg yard.
