D&J Tree Service

About D&J Tree Service

On open prairie, a tree is a decision someone made long ago: a shade maple by the porch, a row of evergreens set out to break the wind. D&J Tree Service works in Whittemore among those deliberate trees, and its lawn care looks after the ground beneath them. Early on a June morning, while dew still beads on the clover and the shadows lie long and cool across the yard, the mower leaves a striped carpet running right up to the trunks. Grass under a canopy is its own small world, and keeping it thick and neat is what turns a shaded yard into a room you want to sit in. Here, where the sky is enormous and shelter is hard-won, that green patch under the branches is worth every pass.
