About Bowers Custom Services

The rail line still cuts straight through West Liberty, and the grain elevator by the tracks marks the middle of town as well as any street sign could. Bowers Custom Services clears the blocks around that crossing first, then works out into the nearby residential streets, plowing driveways and opening up walks before Main Street gets moving for the day. Iowa winters bring drifting snow across the open rail yard that piles against the first driveways it meets, so those get a second look after a windy night. Salt goes down at the steps and the low spots where meltwater turns back to ice by evening. It's small-town work, one block at a time, until West Liberty is on the move again.
