About GQ's Mow & Snow LLC

January arrives in West Des Moines sideways, the wind out of the northwest with nothing between here and the Dakotas to slow it down. GQ's Mow & Snow LLC works both halves of that calendar: blades on the drives and walks when the plow ridge sets up hard at the curb, decks down and mowing once the ground finally lets go in April. Snow clearing, mowing, trimming and edging — one crew that knows which driveways face the wind and which walks drift first. There is a particular satisfaction in a cleared drive and a cleared walk at first light, while the rest of the street is still white. Serving West Des Moines along with Clive, Waukee, Urbandale and Windsor Heights.
