Finn's Lawn Care

About Finn's Lawn Care

Out where Jordan Creek runs under the parkways, the newer streets curl into cul-de-sacs and every yard meets its neighbor without a fence to argue about. Finn's Lawn Care mows those blocks in the long light of a June evening, when kids are still outside and the sprinklers tick on one lawn at a time. The work is mowing, trimming and edging — tidy at the mailbox, square at the drive, honest along the property line. It is a small pleasure, watching a whole street pull together because each lawn got cut the same week. West Des Moines comes first, with Waukee, Clive and Grimes an easy run up the road.
