About Outdoors by JK

The first warm week of April, the Walnut Creek greenbelt goes from brown to a green so new it looks lit from underneath, and every lawn in West Des Moines is suddenly two inches taller than it was on Friday. Outdoors by JK is out for that opening cut, the one that pulls a whole yard back into shape after the freeze and thaw of March. Mowing, trimming, edging and regular maintenance on through the growing season. That first mow smells better than any other cut of the year — it is the entire summer announcing itself. Serving West Des Moines, Clive, Windsor Heights, Urbandale and Waukee.
