About Lawn Barbers

The old shade trees along Grand Avenue drop the temperature ten degrees and turn every lawn beneath them into a patchwork of moving light. Lawn Barbers works those yards the way the name suggests — a clean part down the middle, tidy around the ears, nothing left ragged at the collar of the driveway. Mowing, trimming, edging and upkeep from the first cut of the year to the last. Dappled shade is unforgiving; it shows every wandering line, which is exactly why the lines get walked straight. Across West Des Moines with Windsor Heights, Clive and the near west side of Des Moines close at hand.
