Country Gardens

About Country Gardens

Wesley lies in Kossuth County, the largest county in Iowa, where the sky feels bigger than the land and a January gust can cross the whole horizon without meeting a hill. Country Gardens works this broad country in both halves of the year, mowing and tending lawns through the short, bright northern summer and clearing snow once the drifts start building. A trim lawn under that enormous sky looks like a small garden at the edge of the world, and a cleared drive in February feels like an open door. It's outdoor work suited to a north Iowa town where the weather is always part of the conversation.
