Chisum’s All & All Lawn Care

About Chisum’s All & All Lawn Care

By the middle of June the north end of Waterloo has its long evenings back, and the fireflies come up out of the grass around Gates Park at nearly the same hour every night. Chisum's All & All Lawn Care works the daylight ahead of that — cutting, trimming, edging, pulling weeds out of the beds, clearing the clippings off the drive so nothing gets tracked inside. The name is a fair description of the job: whatever the yard needs, handled in one visit, so a property looks tended rather than merely mowed. Iowa grass will put on four inches in a week after a good thunderstorm, and staying ahead of that is most of the craft. From the Gates Park blocks out to Raymond and Dunkerton, they leave a yard you want to stand in.
