About Hemer Property Services

October turns the ranch-house streets off Merle Hay Road into a slow rain of maple and ash, a week of gold that ends up ankle-deep on every lawn in the block. Hemer Property Services works that season out of the yards — clearing leaves, taking the final cuts a little lower, tidying the beds and walks before the ground goes hard. The rest of the year the same properties get mowing, trimming and edging on a dependable round. Iowa asks a lot of a lawn in a short span, and what carries it through is upkeep that never quite stops. A yard put to bed clean in November comes back easier in April, and that is the whole argument for doing it well.
