About Executive Outdoor Solutions

The office parks along 86th Street sit empty at six in the morning, which is exactly the right hour to cut them. Executive Outdoor Solutions works Urbandale's commercial frontage and its homes before the lots fill, so that by the time the first cars turn in, the turf is mowed, the islands are trimmed and the walks are clear of clippings. A property makes its first impression from a moving car, and that impression is mostly line and edge. Iowa's growing season is short and emphatic — everything happens at once from May through September — so the schedule is kept tight and the passes are kept clean. There is a quiet pleasure in leaving a place better arranged than the day found it.
