About DSM Property and Construction Services LLC

West of Living History Farms, where Urbandale's newest streets still run up against open cornfield and construction fencing, the wind has nothing to slow it down before it reaches a driveway. DSM Property and Construction Services LLC works that edge of town, the half-built subdivisions and the older blocks alike, clearing driveways and lots buried under drifts that gather deeper here than they do a mile east in the older neighborhoods. A big system moving through on a January night can leave eight inches stacked against a garage door by morning, and the trucks are out working through it long before the plows on Merle Hay Road finish their first pass. Walks get shoveled to bare pavement, lots get scraped and salted, and by the time school buses start their routes, the newest part of Urbandale looks like any other winter morning in Iowa: plowed, salted, and quiet.
