About Creekside Turf Management, LLC

Walnut Creek slides through Urbandale beneath the silver maples, and the ground that leans toward it holds moisture and stays green long after the flat ground up the hill has gone dull. Creekside Turf Management, LLC reads those differences yard by yard — the shaded low corner that mats down after rain, the sunny strip by the drive that burns off first — and mows, trims and edges each lawn to what it actually is rather than what the block average says. Spring in this valley is mud and birdsong and a mower taking its first real bite of the season. By midsummer the turf is thick enough to hold a stripe all the way to the property line. It is unglamorous work, and it is the difference between a lawn that is merely cut and a lawn that is kept.
