About Alden Services

In Thornton, the land lies so flat and open that you can watch a June storm cross half of Cerro Gordo County before the first drop falls. Alden Services tends lawns in this small prairie town, where backyards sit close to the corn and beans and the wind seldom stops talking. The job is a clean mow and steady yard care with an eye on the finish: stripes laid straight, grass cut clean along the walk, clippings blown off the drive. When the evening light goes long and gold across the fields, a freshly mown Thornton yard looks like it belongs to the whole horizon.
