About Joe Whitters Landscaping

Some of the clearest, coldest hours in Swisher come right after a storm blows through in the night: stars hard and bright overhead, new snow lit blue beneath them, every drive on the block buried and silent. Joe Whitters Landscaping does its snow removal in that stillness, so the first scrape of the day isn't someone's shovel at seven in the morning. The plow opens each drive, the walks come clear behind it, and the work carries the steadiness a long Iowa winter demands. Beyond the edge of town, the fields lie smooth and unbroken to the tree lines. Back on the street, a cleared lane to the road is a fine way to say good morning.
