About K-Man Snow and Lawn Service LLC

The Little Wapsipinicon slips past Sumner on its way north, and on a clear, still night the cold clamps down hard over the black-soil fields around town, the kind of cold that keeps snow squeaking underfoot instead of melting off by noon. K-Man Snow and Lawn Service LLC clears the grain elevator's truck routes and the residential streets running off Main at the same steady pace, working before the rail crossing sees its first traffic of the day. Out past the edge of town the fields run flat and dark under snow cover, broken only by the tree line following the river. Bremer County mornings here are quiet ones — a plow engine and not much else moving until the sun's well up. The route follows the same short loop every storm: elevator, Main Street, then the residential blocks radiating out from it.
