SG Solid Grounds

About SG Solid Grounds

State Center is the Rose Capital of Iowa and lives up to the title — brick storefronts along the main street, the rose garden out at the edge of town, and lawns held to the standard the flowers set. SG Solid Grounds starts where its name says, at ground level: weekly mowing, trimming and edging, aeration and overseeding to build turf with some depth to it, fertilization and weed control, and cleanup in spring and fall. Trains work the mainline across Marshall County all day while the town keeps its own unhurried pace underneath them. A yard here should look like somebody meant it — even color, clean borders, nothing shaggy at the fence. That is within reach on any street in town, one week at a time.
