About StripeDesign...Pro Look Lawns

Stanwood stands on the old Lincoln Highway with the rail line running alongside it, and everything around town is already drawn in rows — corn, beans, ties and rails headed east toward the Mississippi. Pro Look Lawns adds one more set of lines, laying mowing stripes across yards in town, cutting one direction this week and crossing it the next so the grass leans into the light. Around the pattern sits the ordinary care that makes it possible: trimming, edging down the drive and around the front step, clippings cleared off, yard cleanup when the season turns. In a Cedar County town this size a lawn like that gets noticed from the road, from the sidewalk, and from the porch across the street. Flat light on a summer evening is when the stripes show best.
