About Young Bros Lawn Protection Inc

The ice comes off the north end of Big Spirit late, and for a week the ground up toward Mini-Wakan and the Minnesota line is nothing but thaw and gray thatch — then it greens, all at once. Young Bros Lawn Protection Inc works toward that turn: fertilization and weed control on a seasonal plan, aeration to open packed soil, overseeding into the thin places, and mowing, trimming and edging once the growth takes hold. The name points at the root of the thing, because a lawn that returns thick in April was looked after the previous August. Winters at this latitude are long and hard on turf, and coming back strong is no accident. Watching a yard fill in even and dense is the reason for the whole year of work.
