About S & N Outdoor Services

First light in Spencer comes up grayish and wet, dew heavy enough to soak a boot, the path along the river empty except for whoever could not sleep. S & N Outdoor Services is out about then, waiting on the grass to dry enough to cut without clumping, coffee going cold in the truck. When it is ready the day opens up — mow, trim, edge, blow, next address — and by mid-morning three yards are finished and look it. Starting early means the town wakes up to lawns already done, which is a small thing that feels good to be responsible for. Outdoor work kept to the hour it is best done, week after week.
