About Lohman Landscaping & Tree Services

Highway 71 runs down through Spencer and out past the last row of grain bins, and the yards along that stretch are half town, half farmstead — long drives, wide aprons, a lot of ground to cover. Lohman Landscaping & Tree Services takes them at midday in July, when the heat sits still and the only shade going is on the north side of a machine shed. Big lots reward a plan: mow the open in long passes, come back for trimming around posts and pole-barn corners, then edge and blow the concrete last. There is something deeply satisfying about a half-acre that was shaggy at noon and squared away by three. Lawn care for Spencer and the places just outside it, cut to the same line every week.
