Kunzmann Custom Landscapes

About Kunzmann Custom Landscapes

Redwing blackbirds start the day before anything else does — out on the cattail sloughs at the edge of Spencer, that rusty-hinge call, and then morning. Kunzmann Custom Landscapes is loading up about then, headed for yards where the prairie pothole country still shows itself in the low wet corner of somebody's back lot. Mowing near ground like that takes judgment: stay off while it is soft, come back once it firms, hold the height even so nothing scalps. Trim work around trees and beds, edges cut clean, drives and walks blown off before leaving. The reward is a property that looks composed against a landscape that never was — big, open and beautifully unruly.
