About Jeff's Tree Services

Grandview Park holds some of the oldest, biggest trees in Sioux City, oaks planted generations back around the band shell and the rose garden, bare-limbed and holding their ground through the winter months. Jeff's Tree Services spends the growing season up in that same kind of canopy and the cold months down at ground level, clearing the driveways and walks on the streets that ring the park, where those old trees drop their shade all summer and their shadows across the snow all winter. A yard under a mature oak holds onto ice longer than an open one, so the work there means going back over a walk a second time once the afternoon sun has had its say. This crew already knows the trees in that park by name, and it shows in how close a blade gets to a hundred-year trunk without ever touching bark.
